The Disjunction of Time (2011) consists of a projection of forty-seven 35 mm slides accompanied by a voice-off presented in video format. The narrator is a receptionist in a hotel who uses the time of a workday as the main discursive element of their narrative. At the same time, this video is a reflection regarding the stay of On Kawara, a Japanese conceptual artist, at the Hotel Montecarlo located in historic downtown Mexico City, on a parallel with an investigation of what time means as a life force.
