In Esfera interminable (Neverending Sphere) (2007), Mauricio Alejo spins a coin that turns on its own axis cyclically, making this an infinite action with a continuous flow in which the coin never falls or remains suspended in time. Through a very subtle gesture, he indefinitely triggers and prolongs the doubt in the viewer as to whether the coin will fall on one side or the other.
